This Friday, October 26 is the second annual Shocktoberfest at the Student Center from 7:00PM to 11:00pm. Shocktoberfest is a campus-wide Halloween-themed event featuring a major concert, student organization booths and performances, a haunted house, and After Shock, an after party dance in the Pacific Ballroom from 11pm to 1am.
This year, CHSC is hosting a booth featuring palm reading and selling baked goods (i.e. decorate your own cookie). Since the event is set to run from 7-11, we are looking for volunteers to help at the booth! Any time you can volunteer is appreciated. For all the fearful, the palm-reading is going to be based off a quick “cheat sheet” of major lines in the palm, (i.e. lifeline, etc, and after that its “make-up-as-you-go”). But if you’d rather sell cookies or help out in other ways, please contact Chris Lawrence ASAP. Since this event is a fundraiser for CHSC, your support is very important to its success. Make sure to stop by our booth if you go! See you there!
