The Program in Public Health is pleased to announce the continuation of campus-wide competition for funding under the UC Irvine Global Health Framework supported by a grant from the Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health.
The overarching objective of the UC Irvine Global Health Framework is to coordinate and enhance global health research, education, and outreach activities on campus. With additional support from the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) we are pleased to announce the availability of Global Health Research and Travel Fellowships in 2010 (six to ten fellowships for undergraduate students, three fellowships for graduate or medical students, and one travel fellowship for postdoctoral fellows or junior faculty).
Fellowship applications are due January 15, 2010. Earlier submission of applications for projects initiating sooner than the deadline are encouraged.
