“Raising Zoey” Film Screening – 13-year-old Zoey, with the help of her mother and the ACLU, fought for her right to self-identify as a girl in school.
AB Soto – a performance artist with Latin roots and a rebellious streak that challenges mainstream gay culture.
Saturday – Online Application/Registration to Attend
Open to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, who self-identify with the Latin/South/Central American diaspora and/or as Brown or Indigenous. Deadline to apply: January 23, 2017. Registration fee is $10 for UCR students, staff, and faculty. $20 for non-UCR folx. Scholarships available. Lunch & t-shirt provided.
