Looking to develop impactful sustainability solutions?
LOGS is a 2 unit course offered at the Paul Merage School of Business, led by faculty member William Hernandez Requejo. The purpose of LOGS is to facilitate leadership in sustainability through peer-to-peer and peer-to-mentor projects; by the end of the course, we hope to create a ‘watering hole’, so to speak, of sustainability leaders from all schools and disciplines.
Some topics that will be addressed:
– Concept of sustainability
– Critical views, pro-business views, skepticism and denial of global warming
– Sustainable economic development
– Corporate sustainability solutions
Students will have the opportunity to listen and work with sustainability leaders in academia, commerce, and policy. Students are highly encouraged to develop and initiate impactful sustainability projects.
We are actively looking for student leaders who would like to enroll in this course, and, ultimately, become leaders in this network. If any of this sparks interest, please consider enrolling in the course and joining our team!
