Professor Ted Wright says, “I am looking for a few CHC students to join an ongoing research project studying visual selective attention. Our research uses behavioral techniques – observers see carefully constructed visual stimuli and respond by indicating a location in the stimulus – not neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG, etc). You do not need to be a Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, or Psychological Sciences major. In the past BioSci, ICS, Engineering, and students in other majors have participated. If you know what visual selective attention is and would be interested in studying this visual mechanism, I would be willing to consider including you. The only other requirement is that you be free for meetings on Friday from 1:00-1:50.
If you are interested, please contact me, Ted Wright, at cewright@uci.edu, by the end of the day Wednesday, October 2nd.”
