This is your CHSC President, Katerina, and on behalf of CHSC, welcome to Fall Quarter (and to the CHCommunity, if you’re a freshman)! I know that it can be hard being isolated from your peers, but I hope we can all still come closer together through the virtual space this quarter. If you want to connect with some of your fellow CHCers, consider coming to some of the exciting upcoming events we have planned! This Friday (10/2), we are holding the first Coffee Hour of the year. This is a virtual space for you to chat with others, form study groups, and more! While the theme for this Friday is Peer Mentor/Mentee, everyone is welcome to join in. On Saturday (10/3), your Peer Academic Advisors are hosting a virtual game night to play Among Us, Skribblio, or any other games you might want! If you would like to learn more about what’s going on in honors or help with planning events, come to the first CHSC Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 7th. Get to know the officers, give your ideas for how we can keep people connected virtually, or vote for our yearly theme! I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors as the quarter begins, and I hope to see you around sometime!
