Princeton Review SAT Tutors
ATTENTION UCI HONORS STUDENTS
THE PRINCETON REVIEW is looking for intelligent and personable SAT instructors with a knack for standardized tests. We’ll teach you how to become an elite instructor, and provide you with invaluable training and support. Our hours are flexible, and the pay is competitive ($18/hr). Our teachers (a number of them were CHP students) have earned a reputation for taking the tedium out of, and putting the results into, test preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of quality SAT prep courses
- Customer service, including correspondence and dialogue with students and parents
- Finding unique and creative solutions to problems
Requirements:
- Excellent public speaking, presentation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong Math and English fundamentals
We are having a presentation on May 10, 2013 during Coffee Hour. Travis Chamberlain, a previous CHP student and Princeton Review tutor, and Vivian Ngo, a Princeton Review recruiter and tutor, will be available to answer any questions.

Research & Study Abroad for CHP students
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and the Study Abroad Center have set aside funds
to support faculty-mentored undergraduate research undertaken while abroad or as a result of studying
abroad or participating in experiential or service-learning abroad. Both individual and group projects
can be proposed.
Below are recommended steps that you should take:
· Identify your research interest
· Find a UCI faculty mentor by reviewing faculty research profiles at: www.faculty.uci.edu
· Plan your research with your faculty mentor
· Apply for a UROP grant.
o Important: In your UROP grant proposal, be sure to state that you will be doing research while abroad
or as a result of studying abroad or doing service-learning abroad.
