Participate in the New UCI Libraries Survey

Once per month at a randomly selected two-hour timeslot for the next 12 months
Location: Science Library, Langson Library, Grunigen Medical Library

UCI Libraries will be conducting a survey over the next 12 months to collect information about the use of library resources. The survey will be available digitally and in paper format during a randomly selected two-hour window once per month at the Langson, Science, and Grunigen Medical libraries. We encourage you to complete the survey if you are prompted to do so while accessing library services, as the information collected will benefit UCI Libraries and improve future experiences for all UCI students.

Portz Interdisciplinary Fellowship Award

Each year, Portz Interdisciplinary Fellowships are awarded to honors students from NCHC member institutions, to support creative and innovative research endeavors that cross boundaries. Individual students who wish to undertake cross-disciplinary research, or a team of two students from different disciplines who propose a single collaborative project, could have their research funded for up to 18 months. UC Student Regent application open

The student regent is a full voting member of the board, representing students across the university’s 10-campus system. This impactful role brings the voice of the student to every issue and decision before the board. All UC students are eligible for this life-changing opportunity, which comes with a stipend and a waiver for all systemwide tuition and fees during the two-year term of service. Learn more

9th Annual Regenerative Medicine Summer School

Greetings from McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine! We are holding the 9th Annual Regenerative Medicine Summer School this year from June 6-10, 2022. The plan is to offer the School on a virtual basis, as we have for the past two years, where it has met with great success. Due to the virtual nature, we have been able to increase the number of undergraduate students who can participate in the program. Last year saw more than 50 students from across the country and beyond, and we are looking forward to hosting additional students this year. As conditions allow, we will also be offering a limited number of paid, 7-week internship opportunities to students who complete the summer school.
