Special Hum Core Forum
Attention freshmen doing research in Humanities Core:
The Program has invited Winter Humanities Core Lecturers Robert Moeller, Professor of History, and Julia Lupton, Professor of English and Director of Humanities Core for a 50-minute forum on the ways in which Humanities scholars find their topics and pursue their research.
How do faculty pick research projects? What’s involved? How do they pick a focus? narrow a focus? throw their hands up in despair and realize that they can’t do what they hoped to do? get help from others? learn deep breathing techniques?
So please come and hear Professor Lupton and Professor Moeller bare their professional souls and answer your questions about beginning, pursuing, changing, and completing scholarly research. The forum will be on
Friday, May 7th at 11:00am in SSII 1010
