Cognitive Factors

  • Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence (WASI): Two WASI subtests are used in Crossroads: Vocabulary and Matrix Reasoning.  When combined, these two subtests take approximately 15 minutes and yield a quick proxy for an intelligence quotient (IQ) and can be used to screen and re-evaluate individuals between the ages of 6 and 89 (scores on the WASI have been normed and standardized).
