Welcome to Center for Synthetic Biology.
Our center was founded in October 2020. At present, we boast a team of 7 core members and 19 general members, all committed to fostering a united and resilient community aimed at enhancing the quality of synthetic biology research at UCI.
The objectives of our center go beyond the mere dissemination of research findings and resource sharing. We also play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and supporting individuals pursuing their PhDs, postdocs, and faculty positions in the realm of synthetic biology at UCI. Our mission also extends to responding promptly to emerging opportunities in the field and hosting synthetic biology research and community building activities on campus.
