CYFER (pronounced /sīfər/)

The CYFER Lab incorporates decolonizing practices and mixes epistemological frameworks to counter compounding challenges of systemic racism, structural violence, and intergenerational trauma and adversity experienced by marginalized people. We seek to collectively build empowerment, resilience, and thriving through critical and creative partnerships and community-engaged research.

CENTERING YOUTH AND FAMILIES

The CYFER Lab works with youth ages 12-17, youth in transition ages 18-24, and their caregivers (parents, guardians, and trusted, positive supports).

SUPPORTING HEALTH SCIENCE STUDENTS

The CYFER Lab provides mentoring, working in partnership for students.
