I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but I moved to Irvine, California when I was in 4th grade. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I participated in various sports, including track and cheerleading. In 2020, I moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California where I taught science to local elementary students, volunteered at hospitals, and supported our football team on the weekends. During my time there, I also conducted research on synaptic plasticity in Drosophila, which allowed me to develop valuable laboratory skills under the guidance of incredible mentors. In May 2024, I graduated from the pre-medical track with a B.S. in Human Biology and a minor in Legal Studies. I am excited to have found my place at DELTAi, where I will apply my knowledge and skills to make meaningful contributions in regenerative research. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends at the beach and going to museums! |
