I was born and raised in China. My interests in mechanics and healthcare led me to pursue my degrees and career in biomedical engineering. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in an anti-ossification cartilage scaffold project under the mentorship of Dr. Jianglin Wang. In my senior year, I was lucky to join Dr. Wendy Liu’s lab at UC Irvine through an exchange program. This experience not only expanded my professional horizons but also kindled my desire to work and reside in southern California. While pursuing my master’s degree at Cornell, I had the opportunity to shadow medical procedures, work on musculoskeletal disease simulation for Hospital for Special Surgery, and acquire Six Sigma training. At DELTAi, I aspire to advance the application of tissue engineering for cartilage therapies. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and fishing, working out, cooking, and handcrafting. I am also an auto enthusiast, as a previous member and director of my undergraduate university’s Formula Student Autonomous China racing team. |
