Co-Chair: Madelynn Dickerson
Madelynn Dickerson is the Research Librarian for Digital Humanities and History. She is member of the Digital Scholarship Services department at UCI Libraries, and is eager to collaborate on experimental digital projects and ideas. She has research interests in building organizational infrastructure for digital humanities in higher education, experimental space planning, library collection development, and creative scholarship – especially the intersections between art and technology and the idea of research as creative practice. As a co-chair of the Digital Humanities Working Group, Madelynn plans, coordinates and facilitates events through the Humanities Commons.
Co-Chair: Dwayne Pack
Dwayne Pack is the Director of Computing for the School of Humanities at UC Irvine. He has over 21 years of experience with higher education information technology. He specializes in supporting instructors with a wide range technology-rich classroom and research services, with a focus on multimedia projects, web development, distance learning and now digital humanities (DH). As a co-chair of the Digital Humanities Working Group, Dwayne is eager to highlight some of the great DH projects already started at UCI, and help to develop an lively environment for creating and sharing future projects.
