In case you missed yesterday’s DA meeting or forgot what we talked about, here’s a quick recap/rundown of upcoming club events:

- – Please pay your dues! They are $5/quarter or $12 for the whole year. Paying dues comes with lots of benefits, such as free participation in crafts events during meetings, discounts on club t-shirts, and discounts on special club events.
- The DA is hosting a HALLOWEEN PARTY on Monday, November 3rd, from 6:30-9:30, in Pacific Ballroom AB!! It’s Tim Burton-themed, and there will be candy, music, and a live scenario/mystery-type game for all guests. Tickets are $2 for dues-paid club members and $5 for everyone else.
- We’re getting club T-shirts again this year, and there will be a T-shirt design contest with House Points awarded for everyone who submits a design. The winner (by vote) will receive bonus House Points as well as a free shirt. The guidelines for the contest will be announced in-club next week, but feel free to start drafting your ideas…
- Our big formal club event of the year is the YULE BALL. Save the date! It will be held in Winter Quarter, on Monday, January 26th, from 6:30-10 pm, in Pacific Ballroom ABC. There will be ballroom dancing with live waltz music, and the evening will end with a mainstream dance party. There will be refreshments and Butterbeer!
