Recent NY Times Polls of Local California Districts

The polls are run by Siena College Research Institute for The Upshot.  Over 2.7 million calls have been made, with about a 1.7% response rate.  Most people just don’t answer to an unknown number.

These are recent polls of about 500 people, and have errors on each candidate of about plus/minus 4.5%.

CA 45th Congressional District, polled Oct. 26 to Nov. 1.

Democrat Katie Porter.                48%

Rep. Incumbent Mimi Walters.  46%.

Undecided.                                        6%

CA 48th Congressional District, being polled, with 386 people.

Democrat Harley Rouda.                     46%

Rep. Incumbent Dana Rohrabacher 43%

Undecided.                                              10%

CA 39th Congressional District, polled from Oct. 18 to 23rd.

Democrat Gil Cisneros.     47%

Republican Young Kim.    46%

Undecided.                             7%

CA 49th Congressional District, polled from Oct. 19 to 24th.

Democrat Mike Levin.           53%

Republican Diane Harkey.   39%

Undecided.                                8%

About a quarter of the voters are in Orange County.
