April 4. US Reaches Half of Projected Peak Coronavirus Deaths Per Day

Coronavirus deaths today were 1,339, about half of the maximum predicted at the peak of the IHME curve for the United States.  The peak is still projected for April 15.

Worldwide, there are now 1.20 million Coronavirus cases, with 64,774 deaths.

The US has 312,146 cases, and will pass a third of a million tomorrow.  The US has 1,339 new deaths, bringing the total to 8,496 deaths.  It may pass 10,000 tomorrow.  The largest source is NY state with 3.564, which contains NY City’s 2.624 deaths.  New Jersey is next with 846 total deaths

Louisiana at 21.4% and Virginia at 19.6% are very large today.  Some of the less than 10% increases may be a weekend effect.
