The Research Exploration Workshop on Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Privacy aims to broaden the participation among underrepresented groups in cybersecurity research, including women, Latinx/Hispanics, Blacks/African Americans, Native Americans, persons with disabilities, and those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Program Overview
The workshop will expose the participants to the following research topics: IoT, cybersecurity, security, privacy, mobile systems, and networking. You will get the opportunity to interact with top researchers in the field, network, and get hands-on experience.

- Learn about cutting-edge research on privacy.
- Gain hands-on experience using the Raspberry Pi and python.
- Mentoring from faculty and graduate students (from properdata.eng.uci.edu) and industry professionals (Google).
