Workshops for Learning R and Python
In 2017, I began creating workshops centered around programming and educational data science. The first of these workshops focused on teaching Python for the purpose of processing clickstream data. I have also established workshops focused on teaching R to data analysis and visualization. Many of the students who have completed previous workshops go on to lead some of the workshop lessons. These workshops have created a thriving community of students, postdocs, faculty, visiting scholars, who use R and Python in their work.
Our wonderful UCI School of Education Students leading some of the R Workshop lessons (In clockwise order: Daniela Alvarez-Vargas, Ying Xu, Ha Nguyen, & Renzhe Yu).
