Welcome to our page! We have been a part of this program for the past two years, and now we are excited to be the coordinators of the program this year. We hope you all find this program useful and take advantage of our resources and get to know the wonderful tutors. We wish you all a successful year of general chemistry!
Hello! My name is James Hariyanto, a 4th year Pharmaceutical Sciences major. I am also a part of the Campuswide Honors Program, do research with the Mobley Lab, and volunteer at the hospital. I like to watch movies, read manga, and take naps during my free time. I also love to eat! I joined this program because I always wanted to try out tutoring and help other students succeed academically. I thought I had a solid understanding of general chemistry from my high school and college classes, so this program was a perfect fit. Transitioning from being a tutor to a coordinator, I hope to continue to improve the GCPT program and help students learn and understand chemistry.
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I am a fourth year Biological Sciences major. Aside from GCPT, I am a part of the Physician Assistants Coming Together club and volunteer at the hospital. I like watching tv shows like GoT, Netflix, and anime! I also love trying new foods, music festivals, and traveling. I joined this program because when I was a first year, this program really helped me succeed throughout the general chemistry series and I wanted to give back to future students. Not only that, general chemistry has became one of my favorite subjects. I wish you all the best of luck in the general chemistry series!
Welcome to GCPT! My name is Alex and I am a 4th year Biological Sciences major. When I am not doing school work, I enjoy biking, playing poker, and surviving on Dead by Daylight. This will be my 3rd year being a part of the program and I am incredibly excited to be serving as a coordinator. I originally applied to be tutor for GCPT because I thoroughly loved the GChem series and I admired how this program is easily accessible to any student who needs help. Now, as a coordinator, I hope to further improve the quality of our tutoring services and help students realize that chemistry is not something to be intimidated about.
