NOW HIRING MENTORS

UCI GEAR UP is currently looking for highly motivated undergraduates to fill Student Tutor/Mentor positions. Student Tutors/Mentors work in partnership with Compton schools to provide academic support and intervention to students. The Student Tutor/Mentor position is a great opportunity to gain leadership and mentoring skills while giving back to the community!

Academic year-long commitment
Must be available to work weekdays
Must be able to attend mandatory trainings
Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
Must have reliable transportation, drivers license, and vehicle insurance
Preferred experience in Math tutoring

Student Tutors/Mentors will commute and advise students at Compton Unified schools. Compensation begins at $18.00/hourly (mileage will also be compensated).
