Welcome to GEOMED 2022!

GEOMED 2022 will take place at the University of California, Irvine, on 12-14 October 2022. The conference will be held in person, however it will also feature remote sessions.

GEOMED is an interdisciplinary conference on spatial statistics, spatial epidemiology, and geographical aspects of public health. The conference aims to bring together epidemiologists, geographers, statisticians, computer scientists and public health researchers and professionals to discuss methods of spatial analysis and results and applications of those methods to public health data.

The conference is endorsed by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA).

10/02/2022 Updates: The registration page is now closed and plans are on the way to finalize the logistical aspects of the conference! If you want to attend GEOMED 2022 and did not manage to register on time, please contact Veronica Berrocal (vberroca AT uci DOT edu).

A final program with the schedule and listing of the sessions is now available. An abstract book for all the oral presentations is available here.

January 2, 2023 Update: Recordings of the sessions and of two plenary talks are now available in the password-protected page titled “Sessions and plenary talks recordings“.  Enter the provided password to access the videos. Recordings will be available for 3 months, until April 2, 2023. Please note that the same password can be used to view the remote poster presentations.
