As a follow-up to our previous Cell paper, we have discovered a new mTORC1 downstream effector, FAM120A, which orchestrates the interplay between SREBP-dependent transcription and RNA splicing of lipogenic genes, thereby enhancing lipid synthesis in cancer cells.
