Format:
- Sessions interspersed with discussion and active learning, including peer-review of writing samples
- There will be 1 session where students and postdocs with fellowship writing experience will share their experiences plus lessons learned
- Discussion groups with peers, faculty members serving as facilitator or their peers with successfully funded grants
- A session will be presented on writing effective training plan (for PIs), training environment, applicant’s training and career goals
- The course participants will read, watch and listen to available resources on grant writing – Highly Recommended*
Assessment & Evaluation: Submit a peer-reviewed draft of Specific Aims, Background/Significance, and an outline of the Research Plan and Goals for training for assessment by the course instructors.
