Nature Masterclasses UCI

University of California Irvine offers FREE subscription to Nature Masterclasses, an online platform to understand Scientific writing & Publishing; Focus on Peer Review in Research.

What is the course about, and who is it for?

  1. Offers guidance on how to write and publish a great research paper
  2. For researchers in the natural sciences who want to get published
  3. Easy-to-use with short 10 minute lessons
  4. Taught by Nature Research journal editors – so you hear tips from the experts
  5. Receive a certificate when you complete each part of the course – there are 3 parts in total

The University of California, Irvine has an institutional subscription to Nature Masterclasses. As a member of UC Irvine, this subscription grants you access to an online course called Scientific Writing and Publishing. Make the most of our university’s subscription! How to write clearly, write a great title and abstract, and structure your paper — as well as how to manage and present your data.

UC Irvine’s access to the course is provided via IP authentication.

Firstly, make sure you are connected to UC Irvine’s network to be within the registered IP ranges, listed below. (Since our university’s access is based on these IP ranges, if you are outside these IP ranges *(Registered IP ranges listed below), you will not be able to access the Nature Masterclasses course).
