GABES (Graduate Association of Biomedical Engineering Students) seeks to facilitate networking among students, industry, alumni, and the larger Orange County biomedical engineering community. We hope to provide avenues that will allow graduate students to build experiences in leadership and communications, skills essential for professional development. Aside from hosting workshops, speaker series, and company tours, GABES is also pushing for outreach programs to serve the local community and empower STEM education.

GABES  aims to foster communication and community bonding between BME students, faculty, and staff by providing social, outreach, and professional activities. One of the most anticipated events  every quarter is BME social hours, where students, faculties, and staff can socialize over food and drinks in an informal setting. GABES also frequently partners with the BME administrative office to organize the annual BME winter holiday party and incoming graduate student visitation week. With the unselfishness to serve the BME graduate community while having fun, GABES welcomes you to check out our club and exciting events throughout the year.
