12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Join for part two of our Mental Health and Homelessness Community Series on Thursday, November 16 at noon. Part two will focus on the intersections of homelessness and mental health and address questions like:

  • Do mental health crises cause homelessness or vice versa?
  • How do mental health issues change without housing?

This event will feature expert remarks from guest speakers Christina Weckerly-Ramirez from the Orange County Health Care Agency and Kelly Bruno-Nelson from CalOptima.

This event is part of the United to End Homelessness annual Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week campaign, and this year we’re working to “Change the Conversation about Homelessness in Orange County.”

A local network of partner agencies from across the county has come together to create a community-wide awareness and education campaign packed with events, activities, and opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions and the local efforts underway to #EndHomelessnessOC.
