History Graduate Student Association Conference – The HGSA conference is the UCI History Department’s annual conference, and is a great first conference for early career scholars. The annual conference is typically held every April.

Western Association of Women Historians – The largest regional association for women historians in the country, this conference is great for early career scholars to present their research, regardless of field. Annual conference typically held every April.

American Historical Association – The largest professional organization for historians in the country, inclusive of scholars in any field of study. Annual conference typically held the first week of January.

Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association – The regional affiliate of the AHA, serving scholars located in the Western United States. This conference is great for early career scholars to present their research, regardless of field. Annual conference typically held at the end of July.

Western History Association – The Western History Association is a the largest professional organization for scholars studying the North American West, Pacific World, and borderlands. The Annual conference is typically held in October.

World History Association – The World History Association is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship and teaching within transnational, transregional, and transcultural perspectives, designed to prepare students and the public for an increasingly interdependent world. The Annual Conference is usually held in June.

California World History Association –  The California World History Association is the regional affiliate for the World History Association. The CWHA is dedicated to researching, writing, and teaching history from a global perspective. This conference is great for early career scholars to present their research. Annual conference is typically held in February.
