Congratulations to Andrew for being selected to a summer research internship at the Adolphe Merkel Institute at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland!! He’ll be joining the lab of Dr. Ullrich Steiner in June researching nanostructured optical metamaterials made by block copolymer self-assembly. Additionally, WELCOME to post-doc Michal Wierzbicki and undergraduate Miranda Xiao who will both be joining the lab working on electrically conductive biomaterials. Michal will be working with the electrically conductive peptide fibers while Miranda will be working with the conductive bacteria nanowires. We look forward to working with both of you!
