The 52 Healthy Hints Toolkit provides you as Wellness Ambassadors resources to advocate the overarching goal of wellness and promote the health of your colleagues over a course of a year (52 weeks).
This toolkits includes a variety of wellness topics, including financial, physical, and emotional wellbeing. It is meant to help you promote the importance of maintaining good health within your department and motivate colleagues to try different healthy hints which may later be incorporated into their lifestyle.
As Wellness Ambassadors, your advocacy helps support whole person wellness in our community. This toolkit includes images you can use to promote the healthy hint(s) of the week and several examples of how to incorporate them into your daily lives. You can also try having your colleagues tackle these hints together and build a stronger community within your workplace!
How to use the 52 Healthy Hints toolkit:
- Incorporate into team meetings by adding a slide or two with some healthy habits; think about inserting more habits (~4) if you have a meeting only once a month.
- Use to promote health campaigns and projects in fitness, prevention, nutrition, etc.
- Add to newsletters and emails under a health and wellness section to suggest a new healthy habit every week.
- Save the image of a habit and insert it into a corner of a UCI background to create your own zoom background.
- Create weekly or monthly challenges with your co-workers while incorporating these hints.
