Wellness Ambassador: Ann Batenburg
Academic Integrative Medicine (AIM) Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate Scholarship Recipient
Ann was selected as a scholarship recipient for the UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute AIM Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate and will take part in the six-month virtual coaching program that promotes innovation, academic rigor, collaboration, and cultural humility.

Wellness Ambassador: Lissette Umanzor
Department Health and Wellness Challenge
For the month of March, Lissette coordinated a Health and Wellness Challenge for her department. Staff had four challenges (2 physical health and 2 mental health) throughout the month and daily opportunities for extra credit through additional activities. To receive 5 extra credit points each day, staff could: send a picture of a before and after workout (minimum 1 hour workout), reach 10k steps each night by midnight, or eat a healthy meal.
