• The Office of the Vice Chancellor Student Affairs (OVCSA) team launched the UCI Student Affairs Kind initiative to encourage kindness throughout their unit. A Calendar of Kindness, Sunshine Grams, and additional resources were provided.

Gratitude Initiative Let’s Learn Summer Book Club

• The Division of Continuing Education has curated the virtual ‘Let’s Learn Summer Book Club’ spotlighting new books and old favorites from authors, scientists, thinkers, and artists. The events are open to everyone and aims to inspire lifelong learning and exploration by presenting intellectually engaging topics that you can apply to your professional and personal lives. Gratitude Initiative

• Graduate Division began a gratitude initiative in their department to help inspire, express, and promote gratitude within their department. For “Gratitude Check Tuesdays”, staff are emailed a “Gratitude Check” that includes a short message, an image with a gratitude-themed quote, and the link to the Google form for them to submit their notes of gratitude. The anonymous notes of gratitude are then sent out on a weekly basis on “Thankful Thursdays”.  This initiative began over a year ago and Gratitude Division was able to develop  “Notes of Gratitude – Year in Review”.

• Wellness Newsletter
  • Campus Procurement Services distributes weekly wellness newsletters to support their Accounting & Fiscal Services team. The wellness newsletters provide a variety of resources including: financial wellness tips, webinars, and nutritional resources.
