Post-survey Updates
- Spots still available! There are still a few spots available for our upcoming Engagement Survey Results Training for Managers and Supervisors.
- Managers/supervisors are invited to attend a training to learn more about engagement, survey results, and engagement planning. As an Engagement Ambassador, we also encourage you to attend. Please review the attached flyer for more details and encourage manager/supervisors within your unit to attend. Note: The February 14 session is at capacity with an active waiting list. February 19 still has spots available. Registration is available through the UC Learning Center (keyword search: Engagement Training).
- No additional Staff Engagement Town Halls will be offered.
- Although previously announced in December’s update, we will not be having any additional Town Hall sessions. The Town Hall presentation is now available on the Post-Survey website here. Please share with those who may not have been able to attend and would like information on UCI’s overall survey results.
- New! Spanish content available in Gallup Access.
- All of the learning content in the Resources section of the online Gallup Access platform is now available in Spanish. This is a great resource for managers who have team members that may find resources in Spanish helpful as they work together on their engagement goal. As a reminder, all staff that was invited to participate in the survey can log into Gallup Access. Note: to change the language preference, you have to click the language drop-down menu on the top right of the screen and select Español latinoamericano (see image below)

Beyond the Survey
- The new Empowered to Make a Difference Campaign topics for 2020 are expected to launch in February.
- As a reminder, based on the results of the survey (and incorporated was seen in the 2019 UC Staff Engagement/CUCSA survey), we have identified four topics that will drive the new Empowered to Make a Difference campaign. The two areas of opportunity are Voicing Concerns without Fear and Process Improvement; and the two areas of strength are Organizational Learning and Meaningful Work. And although we have these new topics, we will still continue working on the four topics that were identified in 2017. We will continue to share details as they become available so you can help promote and encourage participation.
- Engagement Ambassador UPDATES & ACTION ITEM emails will be sent out quarterly.
- The previous monthly update emails will now be sent out quarterly with a few exceptions: Additional emails will be sent after each Engagement Ambassador meeting (with the information and content for those that are unable to attend); and supplemental updates will be sent as needed as upcoming initiatives are finalized. Our goal is to keep you as updated as possible to support your engagement efforts throughout your department/unit.
