UCI CAMPUS ENGAGEMENT AMBASSADORS UPDATES & ACTIONS
The numbers are in and UCI reached 76% completion! It may not be the 80% we were aiming for, but it’s still an amazing achievement–especially for campus—since this was only our second time implementing this survey. We should all be proud of our hard work these last 4 weeks!
AMBASSADOR UPDATES
Taking the Survey
- The survey is officially closed! The survey closed this morning at 7AM and is no longer available for any additional submissions. And remember, just because the survey is closed does not mean our work with engagement is done. The survey is just the beginning as the results will help shape what our engagement initiatives will look like over the next 2 years.
Post-survey Activities
- Participation rate updates.
- If you would like your final participation rates, please contact your local HR representatives or reach out to me directly.
- Survey result roll-outs.
- The results are expected to be rolled out in October. I will send out a separate update once I have more details on who will receive them and when.
- Train-the-Trainer Trainings will be held in October.
- These trainings are for CPOs/HRBPs who will be assisting in training people leaders on how to interpret and utilize their Engagement Survey results to drive a culture of engagement within their teams.
- Remove your survey e-signature image.
- If you used the signature block image that we provided during the survey period, please be sure to remove it now. I will send out another Engagement Ambassador program signature image in the coming weeks.
Ambassador Spotlight
Thank you for all your hard work with driving survey participation. Kudos to the following 37 Engagement Ambassadors who reached the 80% participation goal within their immediate unit and/or within a unit within their purview by the end of the survey. Beyond the Survey
- Monthly Engagement Ambassador updates: Now that the survey has concluded, I will reduce the number of regular updates to just one a month. I will send additional updates for any ‘breaking news’ as needed.
- Upcoming Engagement Ambassador Quarterly Meeting in October. We will be hosting this meeting to go over the upcoming engagement initiatives for campus as well as the post-survey activities that will be taking place over the next few months. The specific date and location are TBD. I will be sending out an invitation with details once they are confirmed.
ACTION ITEMS
- Celebrate! You survived the 2019 engagement survey implementation!
- Remove the Engagement Ambassador Survey image from your signature.
- Send any additional pictures of the activities you’ve done throughout the 4 weeks.
- Continue to talk with your team(s) about the survey and the importance of the results. Remember, the survey is just the beginning!
