The Workplace Mobility Toolkit provides you as Wellness Ambassadors resources to promote movement and physical wellness in the workplace.
This toolkit includes videos provided by the UCI Campus Recreation team for stretches that can be easily done anywhere, even at your desk! These videos can help encourage your colleagues to take steps into becoming more mobile and understand the importance of movement for one’s physical wellness.
There are also a variety of UCI resources listed below for your colleagues to take advantage of so they can improve physical well-being without the cost. You can try arranging a group session to engage in these activities as a community!
How to use the Workplace Mobility toolkit:
- Attach the poster to bulletin boards as a healthy reminder.
- Implement some movement exercises into the workday. Try scheduling stretch breaks for yourself and your team!
- Virtually send resources to colleagues to help motivate workplace mobility.
- Use videos to kick-off and break up long meetings.
