Michelle Nuño

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics. I work under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Gillen. My research focuses on survival analysis and is motivated by problems related to Alzheimer’s disease. In particular, my research focuses on efficient sampling designs such as the nested case-control and case-cohort designs, which are meant to reduce study costs in the presence of a rare event.
