Aaron (Alireza) Imani is a PhD Student in Software Engineering. He started his graduate studies at the University of Calgary in January 2021 at SEPE lab, directed by Prof. Moshirpour. Throughout his master’s, he collaborated with Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre on developing control system modules for the Advanced Radio Telescope Test Array, 4-element (ARTTA-4). This collaboration led his research towards investigating effective control system framework selection through checklist-based software quality evaluation. In September 2023, Aaron transitioned to UC Irvine to continue his academic pursuits. His current research endeavors are primarily centered around developing cost-effective large language-based solutions for software engineering tasks.
