Calvin I’m interested in details about the lots surrounding the block, especially the top lot in light grey. The way its depicted with a squiggly border makes it seem like its an encroaching force on the buildings. Why is it that color? Its been a while since I’ve been to the Block but I remember certain lots being restricted for the office buildings during the day, and at night they open up for everyone. I think some of the lots have boom barriers restricting access during those times. I always got confused parking in that area, I had a hard time figuring out how to get out. Also regarding shopping Kiosks I think they are strange customer experiences. Most of the time no one is shopping there and because of that I notice the kiosk worker is distracted on his phone the whole time, or in some cases completely absent but (watching from a distance). It would be interesting to depict the type and level of activity at the kiosks and contrast that with the amount of foot traffic going through the walkways.
Hey Calvin – Some comment that I made in Crit but wanted to add here as well. The kiosks map is really interesting, it really emphasizes the focus of pedestrian traffic and it kinda meta, mapping the map, right?! I think the icon use for child services can be varied, I am fairly sure they are different service. It would be interesting to see that variation to see what story they tell.
Love the icons. In addition to pointing out where things are at, have you thought about visualize other aspects of the forces, e.g types of restaurants or kiosk?

The first thing that caught my eye were the charging stations. Do you have an EV? I do, and I’m always scoping out public places where I can charge.
