Designers should use red whenever the intention is to increase general attractiveness of a given product or solution. According to studies, wearing red appropriately can make both genders more attractive to the opposite sex, can increase slightly competitive advantage in sports, and should be avoid at all on working and studying spaces as it impairs problem solving and creativity.

It is interesting that how a color can provoke people to do an action. Toyota usually use a red color car in their ads. In addition to attract more customers, restaurants often use the same color red to provocative and increase customers’ appetite and making them hungry. This way they increase the chance for a customer to enter the store and buy food.
