Course facilitation is about embracing the personal touch elements in your course, to connect with students. As a UCI-DCE instructor, you will receive training and support to ensure you are comfortable facilitating your course before it goes live in Canvas. Training will include navigating the online environment, strategies for providing a personal touch to connect with students, using course analytics to ensure maximum student engagement, and methods for evaluating student work. Along with customized training, you will have have access to a resource in Canvas with guides and best practices to prepare you for your role.

There are five elements of personal touch you can provide in a course, listed below. You will be trained by DCE DesignPlus staff prior to the launching of your first course who will cover each item in depth and give you access to a Canvas resource course. After Your Course Ends
