Our goal is to provide instructor support focused on enhancing the quality of the student experience. According to the UCI-DCE 2019 instructor survey, instructors indicated that they prefer accessing asynchronous resources as well as training sessions, via Zoom or in person. As such, the following are services DesignPlus offers to UCI-DCE instructors and staff.

These guides (documents) and tutorials (videos) have been specifically created to address a host of course development and course facilitation questions. From Zoom sessions to grading, each resource is created to provide guidelines specific to instructor needs in the UCI-DCE Canvas and classroom environment.

Training

In order to meet the various needs of instructors and staff, we have created a schedule of synchronous training sessions utilizing Calendly (an appointment scheduling tool). We encourage UCI-DCE instructors and staff to sign up for the available training. If you are interested in a training please contact your program manager.
