Julian Baseball Timeline
Julian rejoined ZT organization team, ZT Prospects Shaw, coached by Brandon Shaw and Joe Zermano. Julian so loved his 12U year with the team that he decided to return to his previous 12U team. A year before high school, he will mainly focus on improving his baseball fundamental skills, mental strength, and right baseball manner and attitude.
Julian joined Cali National – Pac for his 13U season. At the end of the fall season, the team was ranked 3rd in the West and 17th in the Nation, according to the Perfect Game Organization. Julian enjoyed new challenges, working harder on improving his batting and fielding. Being a great teammate is always the priority, along with maintaining a good attitude.
Julian joined little league, for the last time in his life, for Northwood Major Division. His team won the championship in both the league games and tournament. He was also selected as an all-star and competed against other cities in District 48. The family made great memories during this little league season.
Julian Cho upscaled his hitting and in-fielding skills during the winter break. Very excited to play with a wonderful team of players and coaches during the memorable 12U baseball life. Tourneys include the Perfect Game in Vegas, Spring Training games in Mesa, Arizona, and World Series in Reno, Nevada.
Wanting to challenge himself further, Julian tried out for three different teams over the summer and settled with ZT Prospects 12U. Julian still is the lead-off hitter, plays short-stop and catcher. He is thrilled to be playing with other like-minded, very athletic teammates. The photo is of Julian with his first home run ball.
Julian joined the Arenado Baseball club again in year 2021, after the try-out in January. He came back with tremendously improved skills sharpened during the pandemic lock-down. He plays in the Red division of Arenado 11U team, and is the lead-off hitter and a frequent pitcher. Julian is a multi-positional player, playing both outfield (center-field) and infield (short-stop) with agility, speed, and tact.
Julian joined the little league team once more after moving to Irvine (his last year as a little leaguer) mainly in order to gain more experience in different defensive positions (short stop and pitcher). Due to Covid-19, the league was shut down after two games, during which Julian pitched and also hit a first infield park home-run.
Julian joined the travel baseball team when the family moved to Irvine in late 2019. Although he struggled a lot in the beginning, in this Arenado Baseball Club team, he finally began to look like a baseball player rather than a kid who plays baseball. Julian gained much needed experience in games and advanced team trainings.
Julian played for Double A division Dodgers in Golden Hills Little League in Fullerton for his second year of baseball. He skipped Single A division. Julian debuted as a pitch in this league and contributed much to the team’s advance to TLC and to its semi-final.
Julian Cho began playing baseball in 2018, when he was 8 years old. He was in Rookie Division Oakland’s A’s team in Fullerton Little League. He received bronze medal in the hitting competition (out of more than 100 players) and manifested much promise as an athlete.
