I officially received my PhD in Mathematics at UC Irvine on March 2023. It was a great honor to be advised by Professor Jack Xin. My ongoing research interest lies in developing nonconvex optimization models and algorithms for machine learning, deep learning, and image processing.
Before coming to UC Irvine, I worked in healthcare engineering relating to transplantation policies with Professor Sanjay Mehrotra at Northwestern University. We recommended data-driven policies and tools to improve liver allocation for transplant and to decrease discard rates for deceased-donor kidneys.
For my undergraduate, I went to University of California, Los Angeles, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics of Computation with Departmental Honors.
