AR Lighting Commissioning
In this recent internship at Osram, I developed mobile augmented reality applications to save the cost of the lighting commissioning process. Using wireless and computer vision technology to enable indoor localization and mapping, I innovated a location-based approach to automatically commission a light by simply “looking at it”.
Developer, UX designer, and Producer. This is a project in collaboration with Apples & Oranges Studios, a company that develops and produces new musicals in cutting-edge ways. We developed tools and platforms on Windows MR Headsets, HoloLens, computers, and phones for set/scenic designers to view and edit 3D models. This application brings new ways of communication and collaboration for designers, directors, producers, and actors in the process of producing theater shows and musicals. (more)
Game Developer, Designer, Writer. This is a mobile AR social game features elemental magia dowsing from real world geographical data, AR Leyline tracker (Pokemon Go mechanic), Astral Projection (Storytelling, PvE), Duel (PvP spellcasting), RuneCrafting, and Major Rituals which are the hybrid experience of the original Magia Transformo.
Game Technologist and Designer. This is a mixed reality game that uses costumes, props, sets, and physical enactments to transform players into witches and warlocks. Three players wear costumes of different elemental power, follow the guidances of their spellbooks, and dance around a cauldron to cast their first spells in a ritual. I worked on the gameplay design and system engineering, including networking, mobile interfaces, RFIDs, Kinect sensor color and depth image processing, color LED strip control, and laser-cutting for physcial props. Game Design and Development. We send messages through sound, Wishing to be understood. But, Do they really deliver? This is a social game in which players collect voice message pieces in AR camera view and re-construct the voice pieces into the original message recorded and sent by the sender. (more)
