Externship Training – Fall 2012

Here’s an overview of the Law Library’s training for the Fall 2012 externship program.  The training is applicable to both judicial and non-judicial externs.  Slides from the training are available; log in with your LawNet Google account information.

Remember particularly useful Library resources:

• Antpac
• Research Guide finder
• Treatise finder
• VPN instructions from UCI Law IT. (The Law Library’s electronic databases are available to you at your externship site if you use the VPN connection.)

Also remember that externship students are welcome to visit, email, or call the Reference Desk to discuss research strategies, or for assistance locating or using any of the Law Library resources.  Students should be careful not to divulge any confidential information about their cases or clients.
