Hours – December and January

hoursOur hours are different in December and early January because of Reading & Exam period and Winter Break. (In general, we are open later during exams.) Check our up-to-date calendar: Law Library Hours.

Our visitor policy is also different during the Reading & Exam period so that our space is conducive to study. During that time — Dec 2 through Dec 18 — only UCI Law students and UCI faculty and staff can use the Law Library.

Multimedia Study Room and new Copier/Scanner

We’re excited to announce two new additions to the first floor: a new copier-scanner, and our new Multimedia Study Room.

The new Multimedia Study Room is downstairs by the Stacks. It can be used by a group or an individual with a technology-related need. Uses include:

  1. View a DVD or streaming video on the room’s 60-inch display.
  2. Work on a document or presentation as a group.
  3. Use the webcam with Skype or Google Hangouts.
  4. Record yourself practicing a speech or presentation.
  5. Connect your personal laptop to the display.

This new room is located on the first floor of the Law Library, with the same general checkout rules as other study rooms. To ensure availability, advance reservations will be accepted for this room.

Speak to a Law Library staff member at the Service Counter for more information.
