Magellan SEM: Sign up when finishing earlier or grabing an open time

Dear Magellan SEM users:

I have noticed that the Magellan SEM is very busy and the scheduling lasts for two weeks. Meanwhile, some users may not use all their reserved time. To make a good use of SEM time, I create a Google Doc form with a link at

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlVa2cfmNf6XdEtWVktBbzctUVEyZjJkeFlWV3JyTlE&usp=drive_web#gid=0

If you are not going to use all reserved time, you may sign up in the form. When your unused time is used by another user, the charge for the unused time may be exempted. If you are waiting to use the SEM, please check this form from time to time. You can get the open time when you sign up first .

Thanks,

Jian-Guo

Simpleware

Simpleware is a program that takes experimentally generated micro/nano-structure data and transports it into finite element meshes so that you may use other methods to analyze the finite element meshes.

LEXI and some UCI PIs purchased a floating license to Simpleware. Only one user can use the software at a time, so all users must reserve time to use the software on the LEXI reservation calendar. Anyone who wants to install the software must have the license file on their computer. To receive the license file and installation guide and be included into LEXI reservation system for simpleware, you need to sign up using the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlVa2cfmNf6XdGl4U1llN2pueXFsVzB5enlOU3N4UXc#gid=0

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,

Jian-Guo
