Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school in the United States. However, competitive applicants currently enrolled in non-US medical schools are eligible to apply and will also be considered.
All application materials must be received by February 15, 2020.
Application materials should be typed in no less than 12-point font. Scan materials into a single .pdf file and email to Lillian Xie (email@example.com) and Rajiv Karani (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the subject line “2020 LIFT Application: Last Name, First Name.” Letters of recommendation should be emailed separately by the letter writer with the subject line “Letter for 2020 LIFT Program: Last Name, First Name.” Incomplete applications will not be considered for acceptance.

February 15, 2020: All application materials are due, no exceptions. If all materials are not received by this date the application will not be considered for acceptance into the fellowship.
Early March 2020: Skype interviews of selected applicants will be conducted. Options will be available for in-state applicants to visit UCI for their interview.
Early April 2020: Offers of acceptances will be extended to two medical students. All other applicants will be placed on a wait list.
