Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school in the United States. However, competitive applicants currently enrolled in non-US medical schools are eligible to apply and will also be considered.
All application materials must be received by January 1st, 2021.
Application materials should be typed in no less than 12-point font. Scan materials into a single .pdf file and email to Andrew Brevik (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Akhil Peta (email@example.com) with the subject line “2021 LIFT Application: Last Name, First Name.” Letters of recommendation should be emailed separately by the letter writer with the subject line “Letter for 2021 LIFT Program: Last Name, First Name.” Incomplete applications will not be considered for acceptance.

January 1st, 2021: All application materials are due, no exceptions. If all materials are not received by this date the application will not be considered for acceptance into the fellowship.
Late January 2021: Skype interviews of selected applicants will be conducted. Options will be available for in-state applicants to visit UCI for their interview.
Mid February 2021: Offers of acceptances will be extended to two medical students. All other applicants will be placed on a wait list.
