The ALMA Program helps young students from Santa Ana by exposing them to topics and careers in STEM and higher education. MAES members can act as ALMA mentors to assist young students from one of the following groups:
ALMA Science Academy
4th – 6th Grade
The Science Academy exposes elementary students to STEM concepts through presentations, guided activities, and mentor guidance.
Middle School PRogram (MSP)
6th – 8th Grade
The MSP prepares middle schoolers for high school and exposes them to more advanced STEM concepts.
High SChool Program (HSSP)
9th – 12th Grade
The HSSP prepares high schoolers for college applications, standardized testing, and life after graduation.
